Tonight is the premiere of Fragments for clarinet and piano at the Music Past and Present concert series in London
I will be working once again with poet W.N. Herbert. Following our collaboration on Nostos, we will be working together on a new work for the Bregenz Festspiel in Austria, August 2008.

Spitalfields Festival in London are commissioning a new work for female choir - The Curate’s Egg - and oboe - Melinda Maxwell. It will be premiered in June 2007.

I’m working with composer Andrew Morgan and director Luc Mollinger on a new production of Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann for three exciting performances on 31 August, 1 and 2 September at the Arcola Theatre in Dalston, London. More info

Kundera, memory and punk - some thoughts on my music : I shall be giving a presentation on my music - on 06.07.07 at 18.00 in the KMS - Kammermusiksaal der Carl von Ossietzky Universität in Oldenburg. This is a few days before the premiere of Bewilder on the 09.07.07 by Ensemble LACIDE at the OKV in Oldenburg.

Currently finishing two new pieces - Bewilder is for accordion, percussion and viola and will be premiered in Oldenburg, Germany on the 9 July. And A Memory Piece is a new work for organ which will first be performed at the Frome Festival in the UK on the 10 July. More info

Commission from Les Percussion de Strasbourg for percussion ensemble and electronics as part of my being Composer in Residence 2007-8. This will also involve a residency at the GMEM studios in Marseille.
I shall be working on a new piece for the London Sinfonietta, as part of their unique Blue Touch Paper scheme. Read more here
